And Then I Don't Feel So Bad...

Well, I'm back, in somewhat of a better mood, and with a lot to blog about.

So, Saturday...busy, busy. Mom, Quinn, and I got up, got ready, and went to her co-worker's house to see their baby chicks (they're going to be raising chickens). So, we got there, saw the chicks, which were so cute and fuzzy, and then followed them to their pool. And we chilled there for a while, swimming and relaxing in the sun, and then had lunch at the pool, and swam some more before heading back to their house, where they let the chicks out for a little while in the backyard (they didn't go very far), and then we headed home.

We got home, and basically chilled for the rest of the afternoon, and then the three of us went out to dinner at North Point Grill, and then came home, and we all watched Inception, which we rented from Netflix and forced Quinn to watch, since he didn't go to the theater to see it with us. And as much as he griped at the beginning about not wanting to see it, he absolutely loved it by the end, and I enjoyed watching it over.

Then, on Sunday, Mom and I went to the grocery store, and then, we had lunch and went over to the pool. We relaxed out in the sun for a while, and then had dinner with my aunt and uncle...hot dogs, and pasta salad, and potato salad, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. And we chilled and talked for a while, and then headed home. And then, Mom and I went downstairs, and watched Bottle Shock through the Wii/Netflix. Which was so awesome.

Okay, so it's set during the seventies...and Chris Pine has long hair.

And Alan Rickman (aka Snape in the HP movies) is the snobby wine guy...lol.

Today was pretty good, too. Basically, Mom and I ran some errands...the pet store, Cato's, Shoe Dept., Target. And I realized I cannot fit into women's size flats. Heels? Maybe if they have a 5 or 5.5. But flats? I need a 4 or 4.5, which means kids sizing, and everything they have has sparkles or really obnoxious colors or whatever. So, it sucks.

Anyway, we got home, had lunch, and then went to the pool for a few hours. We got home at just before 3:00, and then prepped for dinner, and then played Bananagrams before Mom left for work. I made dinner, and then Dad and Quinn and I ate, and watched tv, and then I washed the dishes, and am now letting Ella out.

Nothing on the agenda for the next few days...

Recipe for a Scrumptious Life

I was perusing through the crap in my room (I need to do some serious cleaning sometime soon), and found this on the cover of an old issue of Skirt! magazine.

Recipe for a Scrumptious Life

No more sour grapes. ● Spilt milk? Let it go. ● Music wherever you go, in your head or on the radio. ● More than you need, less than you want. ● Enough silence to hear your conscience. ● A little grief to keep you grounded. ● True joy, not the laugh track kind. ● A doctor you trust with your life, a handyman you trust with your house key, a lover you trust with your heart, a friend you trust with your secrets. ● A car that behaves as if it's always under warranty. ● Long lunches with smart people. ● A talent for kindness. ● One pair of expensive shoes for job interviews and rendezvous. ● Jeans that make you look like a long, tall drink of firewater. ● A teenager who thinks you're still cool. ● The pop! pop! pop! of champagne corks whenever you make an entrance. ● S'more of everything!

Okay, so not everything applies to me necessarily, but I still thought it was worth posting.

As of yesterday, I have realized that my creativity is gone. I have suddenly lost all passion for reading, writing, doing crafty things, creating new videos, etc, etc. And it sucks to feel like that. I have a bazillion different projects that I've started, but never finished, and another bazillion ideas of things I'd like to start on. Grr.

Anyway, nothing much happened yesterday, with the exception of me watching Four's a Crowd, which was really cute. Today, well, nothing much is happening today either, just chilling at the house until I babysit this evening.

Update: Currently, it is 10:45pm, I'm tired, and I have so many emotions flowing through me, it's insane. And well, crap, I can't really vent on here because some of the emotions I'm feeling are being (indirectly) caused by some of my readers. Maybe it's just because I'm so tired...ugh.

Okay, you know what? Here's my compromise...I vent, but not directly name any names or situations or anything. I'm tired mentally (aka why I have no creativity), and I'm tired physically (and I have no idea why). I love being uniquely me, but I'm tired of not fitting in with, like, anyone. I'm tired of crushing on the same boy for, I don't know, years, and him still not knowing a thing about it. I'm tired of fading into the shadows while everyone around me stays forever in the spotlight. I'm tired of feeling left out...

Okay, so I'm a big baby. I don't know what this funk is that I'm going through right now. I guess everything's just hitting me all at once. I don't get it. Anyway, I just wanted to unburden myself, I guess. Maybe I should go get some sleep.

Busy Wednesday...

Well, I think now I have enough for a decent recap post...

Okay, so Monday and Tuesday were normal. I was able to watch The Petrified Forest and The Spirit of St. Louis, both of which were excellent. I learned a lot about Charles Lindbergh from the latter, how much of it is true I'm not sure. But, anyway, I'm nearing 200, so I feel another celebratory post coming on...

Anyway, so Monday and Tuesday were normal, but today was much more interesting. Mom took the day off, so we got up and headed off to my orthodontist appointment. We got there at 10:10am, ten minutes early for my 10:20 appointment, and we were out by about 10:15. Seriously, why do I need to go then, if I spend only five minutes in the chair? I didn't even get checked by Dr. Chermak, the lady basically just checked me herself and let me go. Ugh, what a big waste of time.

So, after that whole five minutes, we stopped at Walgreen's, and Mom picked up some tennis balls, because she and Quinn have been talking about playing some tennis. So, we got home, had lunch, and then drove out to Rural Hall Park. Well, apparently, they're redoing theirs at the moment, so we drove out to Tobaccoville Park, and Mom and Quinn attempted to hit it back and forth, while I ran (well, walked, it was so hot) around picking up the tennis balls and throwing them back. And by the end of it, Quinn was being a baby, because I threw a ball at him, and he wasn't ready for it, so he got hit, and we were all really tired.

To cool off, we drove to my aunt's, and chilled at the pool for an hour. Except I could not take the sun shining down on me. Normally, I love really hot weather, because then the water feels so much more refreshing, but the water is still really cold, so I didn't get in past my knees, and therefore, didn't cool off completely before laying out and trying to tan, But, whatever.

Anyway, we came home, started the prep work for dinner, changed out of our bathing suits, and then Mom and I watched Oprah's last two episodes. (On a side note, I officially hate WXII12...they interrupted broadcasting for practically the whole afternoon and evening, which, in my opinion, was totally unnecessary.) So, we watched Oprah, which was pretty good, and then Mom got ready and left for work.

I finished up on the dinner stuff, and Dad and Granny came over, and we had pot roast with baked potatoes and salad and an orange cream cake for dessert. And then, we watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and an hour of Minute to Win It before Dad and Quinn took Granny home. I washed the dishes while they were gone, and then let Ella out. Mom got home, and we watched Modern Family before going to bed.

Oh, I keep forgetting to do this...here's what I gave to Aaron for his birthday. (Click the pic for a better view.)

You can't really tell in the picture, but the bigger words are popped out with pop dots. I think it kinda turned out like Wordle on crack. Oh, and it's the lyrics to "Good Life" by OneRepublic, by the way.

Anyway, nothing much coming up. Just chilling for Memorial Day weekend...going over to my mom's co-worker's house at some point, but that's about it.

Update: Well, things just got a little busier. I'm babysitting Malcolm and Watson again on Friday night.

I Actually Did A 5K!!!

Well, boy, do I have some things to talk about.

So, on Friday, I got up, got ready, watched The Philadelphia Story, and then Mom came home, and we had lunch. The weather was so nice that we decided to head to the pool for a few hours. Which I really needed, because my skin is so pasty white. So, we did that, and then we came home, and watched Oprah, and then chilled for a while. And the rest of the evening was normal.

On Saturday, Mom and I went to the pool for a few hours, and then I came home and discovered that I was majorly sunburned. So, I chilled for a little while, and then Mom, Quinn, and I went to Fleet Feet to pick up our bibs and t-shirts for the 5K. They didn't order enough smalls, so they didn't have a shirt for me, so they put one on order, and I'll get it eventually. So, we got those, and then headed to BLL Rotisserie for dinner, and then we stopped at AC Moore for a few things.

Then, Mom dropped me off for babysitting, and I basically watched Malcolm and Watson play video games for an hour and a half, and then, we popped in a movie, and I put Watson down. Then, I put Malcolm down, and ended up back in the living room, reading a little. The parents were supposed to get home by 10:30, but they called me at 9:15 to say they were coming home early, so I called Mom and had her make her way over to pick me up. They got home, and we sat and talked for a few minutes while I waited for Mom to arrive. When she got there, they paid me, and I left, and I had a snack when I got home, and then went to bed.

I got at 7:00am today, and got ready, and then Mom and I drove out to Hanes Park for the 5K. It was pretty busy, so we parked and headed over to the main area, and waited around until they announced it was time to start. So, we all walked to the starting line, and then started our walk. It was about three laps around on the sidewalks, and by the time we finished (in just under an hour), it was hot out. So, we went back to the main area, and had some yummy frozen yogurt from Yoforia (I had original with granola and strawberries on top), and then we sat in the shade until the rest of the participants came in. And they drew for door prizes, but neither of us won anything.

So, we headed out, and stopped at AC Moore to look for a few things, which they didn't have, so we went to Michael's instead.  We found sorta what we were looking for, so we picked it up, and then we headed home.  We had lunch at home, and then Mom and I put together the chicken cacciatore to put in the slow-cooker, and Mom and Quinn went to the pool. I washed the dishes, and then Dad and I watched a little tv before he went outside to do some yardwork, and I took a nap.

When I woke up, we watched some more tv, and then had dinner, and we watched The Secret Life of Bees, which was really, really cute. Sad, but cute. And a great cast...Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, and I never realized that Paul Bettany was the dad. You know, the creepy, monk guy in The DaVinci Code? That's him. I was sitting there the whole movie going, "That can't be him," then, "No, that it is him," and back and forth, and then I finally got to the credits, and I was like, "Oh, duh, it was him." Lol.

So, anyway, now I'm just chilling downstairs, letting Ella run around. The storm outside is nice. And that's about all I got. On the agenda for the next few days...just an orthodontist appointment on Wednesday for a retainer check.

My Life Is So...Predictable

My life is the same. Every week. Little variation. I don't know if I like that or not. I can't decide if it's my own fault my life is boring, or if the fates are conspiring against me. Not that it matters.

Anyway, my life is this: wake up, get ready, watch movie, have lunch, wash dishes, mess around on computer or read book until Mom gets home, prep for dinner, have snack, Mom leaves, make dinner, Dad comes home, eat, watch tv, do dishes, let Ella out, watch tv. I am very predictable.

So, movies...I'm nearing 200. This week, it's been - Sylvia Scarlett (cute, I guess), 49th Parallel (semi-interesting), Rasputin and the Empress (eh...hard to follow), Jezebel (good-ish), and Strange Interlude (um...strange?) Tomorrow, I'm taking the day off, and watching one of my favorites - The Philadelphia Story - in the morning, because TCM is doing a Jimmy Stewart birthday tribute (May 20, 1908). And Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn are really cool, too.

Other news, I finished a book today, called Falling in Love with English Boys. No, seriously, that's the title. It is not some how-to book on actually falling in love with English boys. However, it is a really cute book, that switches back and forth from the blog entries of a modern day young woman staying in London while her mother does research at the British Museum, to the diary entries of a young English woman coming of age in the time of Lord Byron. (Think Jane Austen...that time period.) And the stories actually do tie together, because the modern day girl, upon her mother's insistence, is reading the diary of the other girl. It is a really cute book. I loved it.

Um, my other rant for today is that all the season finales are pretty much this week, and I am not looking forward to the summer tv programming. There is never anything good on, with the exception of Pretty Little Liars, of course, which I cannot wait for. This week, I've seen the season finales for - Criminal Minds, Modern Family (I think it was their season finale, but I could be wrong), CSI: NY, and tonight, we will probably be watching the season finales for The Big Bang Theory and The Office. We're trying to catch up on The Mentalist, so we can see that finale, too, since it looks pretty good.

Anyway, I'm babbling. On the agenda for the next few days - nothing tomorrow, then on Saturday, Mom and I have to pick up our 5K packets from Fleet Feet, and I'm babysitting that evening. Then, on Sunday, we have the 5K in the morning, and I think that's it for the weekend.

I Love Parties...

Alright, everyone...I'm back. Totally tired, but back on here, and ready to blog.

So, on Saturday, I got up, got ready, had lunch with Mom, and then finished up Aaron's gift and card, and waited around for a while. Then, at around 4:00pm, I started to get ready...hair, clothes, accessories, etc. By 5:00, I was ready, so mom drove me over to Aaron's so I could help him set up for his party.

I got there, and we immediately started into the decorating. I worked on the streamers, both in the basement and in the foyer, and then I put food into the bowls and arranged them on the counter. Honestly, I was so caught up in my work, I didn't really know what exactly Aaron was doing, other than trying to fasten a toga out of his parents' bedsheet and complaining about how hard it was to walk around in a skirt. :) And talking to his sister on Skype... We did go outside at one point to place a couple of balloons at strategic places (the stop sign on the corner, the edge of his driveway, near the sidewalk, etc.)...and I got asked the ever-popular "Will you marry me?" by Aaron, because he seems to think I'm cool or something.

Anyway, we finished up just as the first guests started arriving, and soon, everything was in full swing. We were all dancing to the music, talking amongst ourselves, and just having fun. The rain let up just enough for us to go outside, and everyone played Quidditch, which was a delight to watch. I think everyone was really exhausted afterward, not to mention muddy and covered in grass. So, we cleaned off, and then headed back inside so Aaron could open his gifts, all of which were very cool.

Then, we pulled out the cake, lit the candles, and sang "Happy Birthday". Aaron blew out the candles, and we ate...chocolate cake with white icing, which I thought was really yummy. Then, we talked and played and danced a little more, and then everyone settled in to watch Tangled, which I'd never seen before. It was actually really cute, and definitely pretty funny. After the movie, everyone started to head home, and we started the clean up. By the time everyone left, it was already after 11:30pm, so Aaron and I finished up the cleaning and then hung around and talked a little before my mom came to pick me up.

I was totally exhausted when I got home. I ended up just having a snack and heading to bed, but I didn't get into bed until about 1:15am. A couple things I realized that night - Aaron and his friends like applauding other people, everyone likes to hug (I think I got hugged more times that night than ever before), and every song on Aaron's playlist is his favorite. Also, that the original plan was a bonfire and a party, and the Quidditch and costumes came about via pushy suggestions from friends. :)

On Sunday, I woke up late, got up, got ready, and then Mom and I ran a couple of errands, first to Office Depot so she could get a notebook, then to the grocery store. We came home, unloaded the groceries, and then, I grabbed a snack and went downstairs to upload and edit the party pictures. It took me a couple of hours, but I finally got through them, and pulled the best ones to put on Facebook. In the four hours or so of partying, I took about 235 pictures! So, I narrowed it down to around 90, and then uploaded them to Facebook.

Then, Mom, Quinn, and I (Dad was working at the Deacon Tower) went to Subway and Pizza Hut to pick up dinner, and then headed home, and ate while Mom and I watched The Tourist, with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. I'd already seen it before, but Mom hadn't, so we watched it, and then I went to check my email...I had 234 new messages in my inbox! Most were "Aaron Sebright tagged so-and-so in your photo", so it wasn't anything special, but still cool.

And then, Mom and I watched an episode of Modern family, and an episode of The Big Bang Theory, and after that, I went downstairs and cleaned Ella's cage. I came back up afterward (Dad was home by then), and Mom made tea for us, and we sat and watched the end of the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, which is one of my favorites. And then, it was pretty much off to bed...

Oh, and if you want to see pictures from the party, I have them on Facebook. I'm a little lazy right now, and don't feel like uploading them here, too. I know I promised a picture of my homemade gift for Aaron, but I don't have the file on my laptop (it's on the desktop downstairs), so I guess I'll post that here next time I'm on. But, I will post this picture, because it's one of the few pictures of me that I actually have from that night.

And I'll leave you with that. I'm tired, and ready for bed. Goodnight! :)

Succumbing To Yet Another Internet Craze...

Well, I wanted to get on here last night, but Blogger was down for maintenance, and so I couldn't.

The past few days have been, well, normal. Watching movies (I'm getting close to my two hundred film mark...yay). Been cooking, watching Oprah, reading a little, and really, just chilling out.

My main project of the week was to make a birthday gift for Aaron, since I'm going to his birthday party tomorrow and all. So, I've semi-successfully actually made something, and it's not what I was imagining it would look like, but it's still okay. I'll post pics on Saturday evening or Sunday, most likely the latter date, since I probably won't be getting home until 11:30 or midnight on Saturday. My project as of right now is to finish making a birthday card for Aaron, which hopefully, I'll finish tonight.

Oh, and I have succumbed to yet another social networking craze...Tumblr. Feel free to come and see what I'm posting, reblogging, liking, watching, listening to, and everything else about me. I'm a very visual person, so I think Tumblr is going to be kinda fun, since it's mostly a picture sharing/posting site. Here's my page: http://into-the-sunshine.tumblr.com/

One other thing of minor importance - Mom and I signed up for a 5K. Nothing competitive, it's not even a timed event. But, we'll be doing that together on the 22nd, which should actually (hopefully) be pretty fun. I have decided, though, that I'm not running until I'm in sight of the end of the course. Not that I probably couldn't run 3.1 miles if I had to, but I'm not in the best of shape and haven't been training for it, so I'll be walking/power-walking/jogging. But, still, it should be a neat thing to do.

Well, I'm sitting here, looking at this post in the editor, and thinking that I really didn't have much to blog about in the first place. Don't you just love me? Anyway, on the agenda for the weekend...Aaron's party on Saturday evening. And I think that's it for the week.

Fred & Ginger - Behind The Scenes

So, I'm quite bored...and my new thing is poking around on Tumblr for cool pics...and look what I found. Very old, very awesome, behind the scenes photos from some Fred & Ginger films...

Top Hat:

Follow The Fleet:
(That's Lucille Ball in the middle, by the way)

Swing Time:

Carefree:

(Celebrating Ginger's birthday on set)

The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle:

(I have no idea who the guy on the right is, but he reminds me of Tom Hanks...)

And then, there's this, which I just recently found, part of Ginger's home movies, I think. I've never seen The Story of Vernon & Irene Castle, but I know it's in black and white, so I thought this was pretty neat to see in color.

Anyway, I just thought it was cool...okay, let me stop here, before I make this post any longer...

Mother's Day Weekend...

So, I kinda have a bit to recap...

Thursday - Normal day, I guess. Watched a movie called Midnight, which was cute, then chilled until Mom came home. Dinner, tv, and all that was just as it normally is.

Friday - Mom got home at noon, and I went out by myself to run some errands. First, to the bank, to deposit some money, then to AC Moore for some supplies, then to the mall, where I bought a t-shirt from Hollister and a dress from Forever 21. And I stopped at Starbucks for a strawberry smoothie. I came home, and we chilled for a little while, watched Oprah, and prepped the dinner stuff. And the rest of the night was pretty much normal.

Saturday - Mom and I had doughnuts for breakfast, and while we were eating, the Fed Ex guy came to the door with a package for Mom. Apparently, Dad had ordered chocolate-covered strawberries for her, which were really pretty. (They turned out to be pretty delicious, too). Then went to Enchanted Cottage to do some shopping, and then we went to the grocery store to pick up everything for the week. Then, we came home, put the groceries away, had lunch, and then Mom and Quinn went to a craft show thing with my aunt. Dad got home from Race for the Cure at about 4:00, and Mom and Quinn got home a little while later.

Then, Dad and I left for the Dash game. I saw a ton of Hanes people...most from the RJR group who was performing at the gate and who sand the national anthem. So, we spent the evening on the party deck, had a bite to eat (I had a chicken sandwich, potato salad, and a cookie), and watched the game. Dad talked with a couple of Komen people...and they already started talking about next year's race, which happens to fall on Cinco De Mayo. And then, the game was over, and we headed home, and I cleaned Ella's cage before going to bed.

Sunday - We had Mother's Day brunch with Mom and Granny, opened gifts, then watched a little tv before Dad took Granny home. Then, Mom, Quinn, and I went for a walk at the trail behind HBI, and we saw a ton of little critters...turtles, fish, and frogs in the pond, ducks, geese, and even these little things that looked like hamsters (they kept running into the bushes, so we couldn't really get a good look at them).

Then, we came home, and Quinn washed Mom's car, while Mom and I sat outside and watched him. I ended up cleaning the windows, to save time. Then, we went inside, and made chicken enchiladas for dinner, and once those finally came out of the oven, and then rice was done, we loaded up our plates, and had dinner while we watched The King's Speech, which I thought was really amazing. Quite a neat film. And then, I let Ella out, and we chilled a bit before heading to bed.

On the agenda for the next few days...nothing much. Oh well, such is life.

I Won't Dance, Don't Ask Me...

So, Monday was good. Mainly chilled for the day, watched On The Beach, which was neat. Relaxed during the evening.

Tuesday was a little more interesting. I got up, got ready, went downstairs and watched Dark Journey, and I got so confused with the plot line, what with all the spying and counter-spying and who was working for who and whatnot. But, I watched it through anyway. Then, I had lunch, washed the dishes, and chilled for the afternoon with Mom. We picked up the truck from my aunt's, and then I drove over to my mom's co-worker's house to babysit her son, Nathan.

It was pretty fun. He played a little on this typing tv game, and then I made him dinner, and he ate. And then, we watched Shrek the Third, and had a couple of snacks. I was going to put him to bed, as instructed, at 7:30, but they came home early, so I ended up leaving about 7:15, 45 minutes earlier than I expected. But, she still paid me for the three hours I was scheduled for, which was nice. So, I came home, and had dinner, and then watched The Voice, and talked with Mom when she came home. And then, I went into my bedroom, and ended up watching Roberta online, which was pretty cute.

I had that song stuck in my head the whole day today...

Anyway, today, I got up, got ready, and Mom, Quinn, and I took the truck back to my aunt's, then headed off to Accessorize This, and we let Mom pick out a couple of things for her Mother's Day gift, and I ended up getting a cute little ring. Then, we went over to Casanova's and got coffee beans, coffee drinks, and goodies, and snacked on those before heading home.

Quinn and I went back out to Target to get a couple of Mother's Day cards, and then we went over our homeschool final testing scores with Mom . I did pretty well, my only weakness being science, and I think that was just because I couldn't pull information out of my brain that I had learned years ago. Quinn did pretty well, too. Then, we talked some about next year's curriculum, and then we played some Bananagrams before Mom left for work.

I fixed dinner, and Dad got home, and we ate, and then watched some tv. I washed the dishes, and then let Ella out, and watched Criminal Minds, and then ended up re-watching again when Mom got home.

Girls Weekend With Mom...

Okay, hmm...well Thursday was pretty normal. Watched another movie...and that was basically it for the day.

So, on Friday, I got up at 3:45am, and went out into the living room, and sat with Mom and Quinn and watched the royal wedding.

Can I pretty please have her dress?

And so, we watched everything, and then Mom and Quinn went back to sleep, and I stayed up to watch the kiss on the balcony, as is tradition now with royal weddings.

And then, I promptly went back to bed, and slept until 1:00. Then, I got up, got ready, had lunch, Mom and I watched Oprah, and then she left for work. And I waited around for Dad to come home, and then he drove me over for my babysitting job. And let me tell you, it was a lot easier than the last time I went over there.

I got there at 7:00, the parents left, and we played around with Zhu Zhu pets and magic sets and stuff for a while, and then I put in a Scooby Doo dvd, and Malcolm made a house out of paper.  When we finished all that, I put Malcolm down (his parents had asked that I put him down first, so that Watson felt like getting to stay up was his reward, after the meltdown last time). So, I read Malcolm a story, and then cut the lights and told him a story until he was out, which took no time at all. And then, I put Watson down, which took all of ten minutes.

And then, I went out into the living room, cleaned up a bit, and then pulled out the book I wanted to start, called Falling in Love with English Boys. I think I felt the British vibe that day, what with the royal wedding and all, and that may have swayed my choice in reading material. So, I finished about 50 pages of that, and then waited around for the parents to get back at 11:00. When they did, I collected my money, thanked them, and left, and then promptly came home and went to bed.

Dad and Quinn left for Danville early Saturday morning, so when I got up, they were already gone. Mom and I went out and ran some errands, and then came home, had doughnuts, and then went to Miss Nails for pedicures. Mom got a manicure, while I got a design put on my nails...

And then, we went home and chilled, and watched some recorded tv, and then went to La Carreta for dinner, which was good. And then, we drove up to Party City, so Mom could get a few things, and then we stopped at Target on the way home for a couple of things. And then, we came home, and watched The Next Three Days, which was really awesome, and then, I cleaned Ella's cage. And I think we watched CSI: NY after that, and then headed to bed.

Today, I got up, got ready, and Mom and I went to lunch at Frank's with my aunt. And we had a good time talking and eating and all that. And then, we went back to her house, and had mint chocolate pudding, which she had done up in these little glass cups, with crushed Thin Mints on top, a sprig of mint stuck into it, and a popsicle stick with "mint" written on it stuck into it. So, they looked like little mint plants in a patch of dirt...really cute, actually.

And then, we talked a bit, and then Mom and I left to go get our grocery shopping done. We got home, unloaded the groceries, and then planted a couple of flowers and some cucumber plants. And then, we chilled for a while, and watched The Bone Collector, which was pretty good, and then Dad and Quinn came home, and we had tacos for dinner. We got to talking, and apparently, Quinn won a tank battle, and Dad sang "Forget You" over the microphone while he was waiting to announce a tank battle. Yeah, they're both a little crazy. Anyway, I let Ella out after that, and that's pretty much it.

On the agenda for the next few days...I'm babysitting on Tuesday evening, but I think that's it for the time being.
